Audi Australia has unveiled the latest iteration of its legendary RS 3, blending sharper styling, exhilarating dynamics, and advanced technology to reinforce its status as the benchmark in compact high-performance vehicles. Priced from $104,800*, the updated RS 3 arrives in both Sportback and Sedan body styles, delivering a thrilling driving experience wrapped in Audi’s signature luxury.

The new RS 3 commands attention with an aggressive stance, featuring a wide hexagonal Singleframe grille with a rhombus pattern, inspired by the iconic Audi Sport quattro S1 Pikes Peak. The Matrix LED headlights now boast a unique chequered daytime running light signature, nodding to Audi’s motorsport heritage. At the rear, a redesigned bumper with an integrated diffuser and RS sports exhaust amplifies its performance character.

Standard 19-inch Audi Sport wheels in a striking 5-spoke Y-design, red brake calipers, and high-gloss black accents further enhance its athletic presence.

Powering the RS 3 is Audi’s celebrated 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine, producing 294 kW and 500 Nm of torque. Paired with quattro all-wheel drive and a 7-speed S tronic transmission, it rockets from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.

A key highlight is the RS torque splitter, an advanced rear-axle system that actively distributes torque between the wheels, reducing understeer and sharpening cornering agility. Combined with fine-tuned stability control and wheel-selective torque management, the RS 3 delivers unrivaled driving dynamics.

Inside, the RS 3 features Nappa leather sport seats with honeycomb stitching and RS embossing. The new flat-bottom RS Sport steering wheel includes satellite buttons for quick access to driving modes.

The cabin’s premium feel is elevated by a colour ambient lighting package, laser-cut rhombus patterns in the door panels, and carbon atlas inlays. A panoramic sunroof is now standard, while the latest MMI infotainment (10.1-inch touchscreen) and 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit keep drivers connected.

New paint options include Progressive red and Ascari blue, with Daytona grey matte making its RS 3 debut. Optional packages like the Carbon package (gloss carbon exterior trim) and RS design package plus (vibrant interior accents) allow for further personalization.

Jeff Mannering, Director of Audi Australia, states: “The RS 3 has always been known for its thrilling dynamism, and the latest edition is no exception.”
